The fee below is for any vehicle purchase whether from Used car auction or from domestic dealer/private auction such as Yahoo auction. The fee structure below includes the following services:
Pre-purchase consultation to understand and identify the type and quality of vehicle required.
Examples of previous sold vehicles provided to establish availability and expected price.
Auction fees related to purchase.
Domestic bank transfers.
Export paperwork preparation.
Japanese Customs clearance.
Booking with shipping lines.
Freight forwarding requirements.
Please Note! inland transport is charged on a case by case basis and is NOT included in these fees. We try to keep inland transport as cost effective as possible.
The fee is based on the purchase cost of the vehicle in Japan.
Vehicle cost between 10,000 yen – 1,000,000 yen. Total Export Fee = 120,000 yen.
Vehicle cost over 1,000,000 yen. We charge 5% of the vehicle cost over 1,000,000 yen + 100,000 yen.
Example Vehicle cost 1,500,000 yen 500,000 x 5% = 25,000 yen Total fee for export is 100,000+25,000= 125,000 yen
Mechanical Work in Japan.
We have a well equipped workshop and can perform most mechanical work. We can also do speedometer conversion work from km/h to mph. We regularly perform maintenance work for customers before shipping such as timing belt replacements, engine/clutch replacements and general services. We do not have a paint shop but we work with two local body repair shops who produce very good quality work. We can arrange for body repairs to be completed before export.
Our shop rate is 12,500 yen per hour.
